Details of our Kushiel’s Dart readalong – all welcome to join in the fun 😀

Dab of Darkness

Heldig and a very good book Heldig and a very good book

It’s time. This has been kicking around in the back of my head for some time. I love doing read alongs and discussing the minutiae of a good book. The Terre D’Ange Cycle by Jacqueline Carey(of which Kushiel’s Dart is Book 1) is one of my all time favorite series. In particular, I am forever enamored of Kushiel’s Dart. My man and I have read this book so many times, the covers have fallen off more than one copy.

Here is the current schedule. Notice there are 2 slots for hosting if someone else wants to host, even a new person who jumps in last minute.

Week 1: May 10, Chapters 1-8, Hosted by Dab of Darkness
Week 2: May 17, Chapters 9-18, Hosted by Tethyan Books
Week 3: May 24, Chapters 19-26, Hosted by Over the Effing Rainbow
Week 4: May…

Tempting…I really need to read this! However, I don’t know if I could read it that slowly. But I’m considering joining:-D

I know what you mean but actually I kind of like the slow read because it means I can still read all my scheduled books. You should join in 😀

Soooo tempted to do this – I’ve been meaning to reread. I LOVE this book.

    • lynnsbooks

Yeah – you should do it! It’s gonna be really good. I’ve only read the first one so I’m looking forward to getting through more of the series and it’s only like 100 pages a week so not stressful.
      Lynn 😀

I really want to make the time to read this at some point, but playing catch up right now.

I know what you mean – sometimes I’m an expert at biting off more than I can chew! I’m looking forward to this though as it’s fairly chilled with only 100 pages a week – so I think I can still fit my other commitments in (hopefully). Now I come to think on it – didn’t I read on Tammy’s blog that you’ve both been selected to be Ace Roc Stars – that’s so cool – and also probably a little more busy in terms of reading. It’s great news though so well done and interested to see how you enjoy it.
      Lynn 😀

Yep, I’m an Ace Roc Star, and need to find time to read some of the books they’ve sent my way!

It’ll be well worth it – looking forward to seeing your thoughts.
        Lynn 😀

Hmmm, I have been meaning to read this for a while. Maybe this month is the month?!?!? Have to have a think about it.

Oh yes, you should totally join in – we’ve got an awesome list of people taking part so there’s going to be bucket loads of discussion.
